Deze e-learning wordt aangeboden in samenwerking met de University of Arizona. De e-learning is al jaren in de VS geaccrediteerd voor 5,5 AMA (Amerikaanse accreditatie) voor alle artsen. De kwaliteit is hoogstaand en er wordt gewerkt met verschillende werkvormen (interactieve casuistiek, quizen en video). De geschatte tijdsinvestering is 5,5 uur. Alle onderdelen zijn engels, zo ook de toelichting hieronder. Integrative PeriOperative Care Surgery can be daunting, and even when done by the best surgeons, can be traumatic on physical and mental/emotional levels. It is reassuring for patients to receive guidance in how they can proactively prepare for surgery and ways that they can optimize their healing from surgery. Participants will gain an understanding of integrative interventions that can provide surgical support across all stages of the perioperative period.
